Gem-Framed Chain Earrings Handout

This earring design carries an air of fine-jewelry. Combining stringing and chain making techniques, they're easy to make and truly crowd-pleasing.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Stringing techniques and chain making experience recommended.
Project Time: 2 hours

Materials List:

• Approx. 150 Sterling Silver size 3.75 inside diameter jump rings
• 3mm faceted rondelles, with even sizing. Gems should be roughly 1-1.5mm thick. Thicker is possible, but you will need to adjust the quantity to fit around the frame neatly.
• 1 pair of ear wires or posts. Different kinds of posts will be covered in the instructions.
• 40 x 6mm 20g jump rings
• 20" of Soft Flex
• 2 Micro Crimp Beads
