Forged Earrings

This year fashion is all about great shapes and glinting metals, and no one knows this better than Vicky, the product buyer for The Bead Shop. She'll show you how to make your own components by hand from wire. With a little love (and some hammering!) you can create your new favorite pair of earrings.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Wire Wrapping Experience

Tools Needed:
* Chasing Hammer
* Bench Block
* Chain-nose Pliers
* Round nose Pliers>
* Bent nose Pliers
* Wire Cutters

Materials List:
* *For 2 pairs of earrings*
* 2 feet of 18 gauge wire
* 1 foot of 26-28 gauge wire
* 4-12 headpins
* 2 pairs of earwires or posts
* Assortment of beads(small beads to large briolettes, depending on designs)
