How to Enroll in Classes

1. Online
Signing up for class is just like buying any other product. A. Go to the main class page and navigate through the sections until you see the class you want.
B. Read the description, materials list, and prerequisites. You must meet all prerequisites to qualify for class.
C. Select the date you desire. many of our classes run multiple times, so be sure to choose the right one.
D. Click "Add to Cart"
E. At the cart screen, verify the number of seats you want by updating the quantity, if necessary.
F. If you do not see the "Add to Cart" button, the class is full. you can add yourself to the wait list. We often open more class times, and will contact you if a place becomes available.
G. To add more classes, keep shopping until you are ready to check out. Your place will not be reserved until you complete the check out process.

2. In-Store
All class signups are done using our website on a first come, first serve basis. If you do not have computer access or would like help registering for a class, come to The Bead Shop at: 158 University Avenue in Palo Alto.

3. By Mail, Fax or phone
Sorry! Mail, fax or phone registration will not be processed until the first Monday following the registration date. If registering by Fax or Mail, please send a completed and signed registration form. Please do not send cash. Only credit cards can be accepted.

Class Policy

All Class Registration are Final Sales
Please choose your classes carefully. The Bead Shop does not allow transfers; nor do we issue credits or refunds on class registrations. You may send someone to class in your place. Please be sure that they meet the prerequisites. Students failing to meet prerequisites may be asked by instructors to leave. This is done at the instructor's discretion, and no refunds will be given.

Pre-registration
Pre-registration is required and reservations will not be held without payment in full. Coupons do not apply to class fees. If The Bead Shop cancels a class for any reason, you will receive a prompt refund. Seating is limited and reserved for registered students only. Please do not bring children or non-registered guests to class.

Minimum Age Requirement
The minimum age requirement for all classes is 16 years old.

Guests and Children
Additional non-registered guests and children are not permitted to attend classes. Only customers who have purchased a space may attend to avoid disrupting class. As much as The Bead Shop adores children, we are not babysitters. Please arrange for outside care, and plan ahead to avoid "tag along" guests. If you attend with additional people, we will request that they leave. If they cannot, you will be asked to leave the class. No refunds or compensation will be given.

All classes are held in The Bead Shop's classroom inside our store at 158 University Avenue, Palo Alto, CA, 94301.

Times
Class times are listed with the dates for each class. Please try to arrive 10 minutes early to get settled. Instructors retain the right to refuse entry to late students, and repeating demonstrations and otherwise catching up late students is entirely at the instructor's discretion. If you are scheduled for a class and find the door locked, please knock to alert our staff of your arrival. During holidays our business hours may vary. Student Discount

All enrolled Students Receive a 10-20% Discount!
From the day you sign up for a class through the last day of the semester, all students receive 20% off most beads and supplies, and 10% off tools and wire in store, with limited exceptions. We have all of our students on file, so please be sure to tell your sales associate that you are a student before you begin your transaction. This is only available in store.

For students wishing to shop online, sign up for a class through our website and we will email you a coupon code for 10% with no exclusion good until the end of the semester. Sorry, no purchases can be back-credited. If you have purchased a class in store and would like to shop online with a 10% discount, please email info @ beadshop.com or call 650 383 3408 and we will send you a code.
